Yonge & Steeles

The site consists of 4 towers, each one with a unique design but working together to compliment each other and and form a uniform neighbourhood. The development introduces three interpretations of architectural facade treatments that share the same consistent design philosophy, while providing a variety to the streetscape and building on the City’s unique skyline.

The use of setbacks and stepped terraces in combination with generous glazing encourages a high level of transparency, visibility and passive observation
at the street level. While intricate balcony designs that wrap and shape the building towers create a comfortable vertical transition.

To balance the vigorous landscape standards and promote a strong relationship between podium and public realm, a network of pedestrian-focused connections sculpt the site, encouraging accessibility and active at-grade uses.
