Beach House
A famous financier that dominates corporate finance and industrial consolidation
in the Arab-speaking region commissioned a beach house as a weekend retreat for him and his family in a town close to Kuwait city. The project included a vast green garden park and various pools that add to the refreshing sense of peace and comfort.
With the exceptionally high ceilings, more light and air flow through the interior.
Louvers on the windows filter the light and control the heat. Nearly all of the furniture is one of a kind by our design, making space for a few pieces from famous Italian furniture brands.
The house revolves around a wooden deck that leads to the pools. The living area, the master bedroom area and the children area are hosted by the three cubes that have vast window - fronts facing the sea. The external white travertine walls blend in with the desert and the bamboo sliding louvers screen the sunlight and temper the climate indoor. Lighting was studied and designed to create layered smart scenes illumination. All the structure is oversized to inspire awe.
